Warm Soft Green Goodness
Guess what this is?

Ooooh you’re good! And absolutely correct - it is the scarf that I’ve been knitting! My very first almost-completed knitting project!

It looks uneven from one end to the other, but I’m hoping that’s because the stitches are squished together on the honkin’ big sized 19 knitting needle. The edges look a bit uneven too, but I’ll just chalk that up to my inexperience.
The only thing I have left to do is bind off. Only problem is I don’t have a clue how to bind off. Yeah, I know - minor details. I did find an online video at knittinghelp.com. After watching the different videos, I think the Basic Knit Bind-Off in the English version is closest to what I already know how to do. I’ve been procrastinating all day giving it a try all day. I’m afraid if I mess up, I won’t be able to get myself back to where I am right now.
But hey, there’s time. After all, It’s only October.
Mmmm I can feel it’s softness. That is a good camera you have to get such a nice close-up.
Gorgeous! Knit two stitches. Bring the bottom stitch on your right needle OVER your top stitch. Knit one more- two stitches now on right needle once again. Bring bottom stitch over top. AND SO ON until one stich left on right needle. Cut yarn. Bring yarn through the stitch on needle, slide needle off, pull tight. VOILA!!
Sara - I use the macro function to get that close-up. I didn’t realize I even had a macro setting until I read a blog post and then checked my camera. It’s a pretty handy little setting!
Lydia - okay that’s just about as clear as mud! ha ha Actually it sounds exactly like what they are doing on the video, so putting the 2 together will be a huge help. Thanks!
Its beautiful Candace!
Thanks Rachel! It isn’t anywhere close to the awesome things you make though. I wish we lived closer to each other - I’d love for you to teach me to crochet!!
